My daughter's dream is to live in "The Apartment", a nebulous thing that includes some amount of autonomy that also includes my wife and I being there every day to make her days fun and special. She is an amazing 23 year old young lady with the best dreams. She wants to get to know the garbage man who is always "Garbage Man Mark" who she has never met or asked his name who drives "Hailey", who is every garbage truck. Kids are a beautiful gift no matter their dreams and we don't deserve them.

It's better to have NO father than to have a neglectful or abusive father. If you have no Father you can pick your own role model and hopefully you'll be wise. If you have a BAD ROLE MODEL (abusive or neglectful father) and he is still in your life it's going to be that much harder to raise your own standards and tell yourself you will do better than that. It enmeshes you in a psychological trap that takes a lot of self-discipline to get out of. Not saying it can't be done. I did it. You absolutely can too. But it is going to be a long and tough journey of Self Discovery and Self Discipline.

So what you’re saying is your kids suck. Cause you can’t tell them the truth. Your kids are probably gonna be trans, speak the truth.

I’m only in year 2 of playing american football and I wanna quit. I’m pretty good at it and last season we only lost 1 game, but I just don’t wanna do it anymore. It isn’t fun to me anymore. My mom signed me up for it randomly.

My dad would take me out of school early on Fridays to see a movie. Mummy Returns, Starsky and Hutch, Matrix Reloaded, Bruce Almighty all carry a great memory for me

I’ve yelled and been angry at my boys too many times that now they are emulating my behaviour and I don’t know how to help them change that behaviour (they both under 6)

I’m trying to get better at baseball. I have been playing my whole life and this last season showed me how much I hate the sport every time I make a mistake I’m getting yelled at by coaches and the crowed so the reason I clicked on this video is to find any way to learn to like it I try so hard but it seems like if I’m not the best I am the worst and everything is my fault

I don’t cry much, but that’s just my personality. Not much bothers me. But any dad who cries in front of his kids is NOT weak but rather someone teaching them it’s okay to be vulnerable and honest about how you feel
